From Father Joe: Listening Session
Dear Parishioners of Guardian Angels,
May grace and peace be with you all. I hope this message finds you well and blessed. Last week, I shared an article discussing the ongoing conversation and desire to reconfigure our church, specifically by "opening and focusing" our sanctuary. This conversation has been underway for some time, but recent developments, such as the addition of a wall separating our gathering area from the worship space, have prompted us to further explore these changes.
I am delighted to invite all parishioners of Guardian Angels to participate in a Listening Session on Sunday, July 30, immediately following the 11:00 a.m. Mass in the main church. This session will provide an opportunity for you to express your opinions and thoughts regarding the proposed changes involving the Wall, the Crucifix, and the projector screen.
The session will be structured as follows:
- Opening Prayer
- Introduction by Fr. Joe: An overview of the proposed projects, including the benefits of the Wall and sanctuary changes.
- Open Forum: A designated microphone will be available for individuals who wish to speak. Each speaker will have up to 5 minutes to share their thoughts and comments, focusing specifically on the topics of the Listening Session (Wall, Crucifix, and projector screen).
- Thank you and Closing Prayer.
I am genuinely excited to listen to the perspectives of those who can attend and to continue the important work of revitalizing Guardian Angels as a vibrant church. Your input is crucial, as we endeavor to create a worship environment that fosters spiritual growth and deepens our connection with God and one another.
