Lenten Retreat

Lenten Retreat

Saturday, March 22, 2025, 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM

As we journey through the holy season of Lent, we invite you to a day of reflection, renewal, and prayer at our Lenten Retreat on Saturday, March 22nd. This retreat is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with Christ, strengthen your identity as a disciple, and embrace the mission to which God calls each of us.

The day will begin with Mass at 8:30 AM, followed by a series of talks from Deacon Mike Braun, Lukas Steffensmeier, and Andrew Watts. Together, they will guide us through the theme of RIM – Relationship, Identity, and Mission. Our relationship gives us our identity, and our identity gives us a mission. What we do (our mission) flows from our identity (who we are) and who we are begins with our hearts in communion with Jesus.

What is RIM?

RIM is a simple yet profound framework for living out our faith:

  • Relationship – Our faith begins with a deep and personal relationship with God. Before anything else, we are called to know and love the Lord, drawing close to Him in prayer and the sacraments.
  • Identity – When we root ourselves in Christ, we come to understand who we truly are: beloved sons and daughters of God. This identity shapes our lives and gives us purpose.
  • Mission – Flowing from our relationship with God and our identity in Him, we are sent on mission—to bring His love, truth, and mercy to the world through our daily lives.

This retreat is a chance to step away from the busyness of life and reflect on these foundational truths. Whether you are looking to rekindle your faith or deepen your commitment to Christ, this day is for you.

All are welcome! Mark your calendars and join us for this grace-filled day as we prepare our hearts for Easter. RSVP to Lukas by March 19. Breakfast and refreshments provided. There is no fee to attend.
