Uganda Trip Invitation
My name is Fr. Zephirino Tumwejunise from Rubanda Parish-Kabale Diocese, Uganda in Easter Africa. Lake Victoria, the source of the Nile River is located in the southeastern part of Uganda. I was born to Frederick and Cecelia, who now both are deceased, may their souls rest in peace. I am the second last child in a family of eleven children. I have eight sisters and two brothers. I was ordained a priest on August 29, 2021, having completed my Theological studies at St. Paul’s Seminary Minnesota. To you my friends, I invite you to visit us here in Uganda, the pearl of Africa.
Concerning the trip, this is what I have in mind. You may suggest to me some other activities you would like to see and do during your visit here with us.
Day 1. Pickup at the airport and spend a night in Kampala.
Day 2. Visit Ugand Martyrs Shrine-St. Charles Lwanga and companions at Namugongo.
Day 3. Traveling from Kampala to Kabale, along the way you visit Uganda Equator Line and continue to the seminary and we will prepare supper for you. Currently, I work with five other priests at St. Charles Lwanga Seminary.
Day 4. Visit Kazinga Channel at Queen Elizabeth National Park to watch wildlife and Kitagata Hot Springs.
Day 5. Visit Uganda and Rwanda border and visit my bisop’s house and take lunch with him, then tour around Lake Bunyonyi.
Day 6. Visit my home and have Mass with people in my community.
Day 7. Travel back to the Entebbe Airport for return flight.
May the good Lord keep you safe and protect your families.
Blessings, Fr. Zeph
